Technology/Policy Watch and Emerging Issues
Our Tech/Policy Watch and Emerging Issues project is modeled after the
in-house “Watch” programs of mainstream manufacturing companies. We will
1) monitor developments, trends and evolving product design concepts in commercial forms/pre-release development stages that may impact our industry and its products;

2) provide technical assistance to organizations responsible for developing policies and standards;
3) champion and incubate promising AAC technologies; and
4) serve as a primary vehicle for identifying new collabora-
tions.
